Telstar HubTelstar starts a new season in the Eredivisie with a completely renovated squad. Technical manager Peter Hofstede is looking for reinforcements to help the club survive.
What happened?
The past few weeks and months have been hectic at Telstar. After securing their place in the Eredivisie, Hofstede had to assemble a new squad. Anthony Correia left for FC Utrecht and Hofstede had to immediately look for a new head coach. That was quickly found in Henk Brugge.
The new squad
At the first training session at Telstar, five trial players were present, including Jean-Kévin Augustin. Augustin has already left Telstar. Hofstede says it was not a success, but worth trying.
The future
Telstar has made a significant move in the past week by retaining three key players. Jeff Hardeveld extended his contract, Ronald Koeman Jr. signed a new contract, and Gerald Alders was re-loaned from Ajax. Noach Shenkman and Abdelnour Soualhia were also loaned.

Telstar starts the new season in the Eredivisie on August 8 with an away match against NEC. The pre-season campaign begins with a match against Almere City behind closed doors.
