Telstar has recently lost Guus Offerhaus to FC Utrecht. The 25-year-old defender and midfielder has signed a contract until 2029 with the club from Utrecht. Offerhaus played a crucial role at Telstar over the past seasons, where he worked under the new FC Utrecht coach Anthony Correia. He started his career in the youth teams of Heerenveen and FC Emmen but only turned professional at the age of 23. After his time at Koninklijke HFC and Quick Boys, he joined Telstar in 2023. During his time with the White Lions, he became a key player and helped the club achieve promotion to the Eredivisie. In his first season in the Eredivisie, Telstar managed to stay up, partly thanks to two victories over reigning champion PSV. Offerhaus played a total of 87 matches for Telstar, scoring four goals. This transfer marks a new chapter in his career and a loss for Telstar, which now needs to find a replacement.
