Telstar has taken an important step in the search for a new staff. The club from Velsen-Zuid announced that Marcel Groninger is the new right-hand man of head coach Henk Brugge. Groninger brings a lot of experience to Telstar and has worked as a trainer at Be Quick 1887 and HHC Hardenberg. He was also assistant coach at FC Groningen under Erwin van de Looi, Ernest Faber and Dick Lukkien. Since September 2025, Groninger has been without a club, but from July 1, he will work with the selection of Telstar. It is the first time that Groninger and Brugge will work together. The staff of Brugge is taking shape at Telstar. Due to the departure of Anthony Correia to FC Utrecht, the club had to look for a new head coach and new assistants. Correia took part of his staff with him to Utrecht and the rest of the contract was terminated. Groninger is therefore the first addition to the new staff at the team from Velsen-Zuid. The staff of Telstar is taking shape and it's good to see that the club is looking for experienced coaches to help the selection.
