Telstar has won its second match of the season by defeating Go Ahead Eagles 4-2. The promoted team was too strong for the Deventer team in an entertaining match.

Telstar opened the score after seven minutes with a goal from Kay Tejan. The striker scored his first goal ever in the Eredivisie from a rebound.

How did the match go?

After many shots from the second line, there was also a second home goal before half-time because Nils Rossen was in the right place at a corner kick. Before half-time, Tejan scored again, but this time in his own goal.

What were the highlights?

In the second half, Go Ahead gave more gas, but Telstar remained in control. Jochem Ritmeester van de Kamp scored the third goal for Telstar and Soufiane Hetli crowned his strong match with a solo and a long-range shot.
