Telstar has recently appointed Harmen Kuperus as goalkeeper coach for the 2026-2027 season. Kuperus, who previously played for the club, made his debut in professional football in the 2005-2006 season. After his playing career, which ended in 2013, he gained experience as a goalkeeper coach at various clubs, including Heerenveen and Ajax. The club has also announced that Dion Malone will be the new team manager. Malone, who played in the Eredivisie for Telstar last season, will remain actively involved with the club. The technical staff is further strengthened by performance coach Niels Bunnink and physical trainer Bryan Ezeoke, both of whom will retain their roles. The first training session of the new staff is scheduled for Monday, June 22, with the first friendly match on Saturday, June 27, against Helmond Sport. Telstar will start the season on Saturday, August 8, with an away match against NEC.
