Announcement
Telstar has signed 24-year-old Sem Valk as a defender for this season. Valk, who moved from FC Dordrecht in 2024, signs a contract until summer 2029 in Velsen-South. The club presented him in a spectacular way as a ‘falcon’, with the official social-media post stating: The Valk has landed.
Valk’s Career
Sem Valk grew up in the youth academy of Feyenoord, where he played between 2010 and 2024 but never broke into the first team. In 2024 he transferred to FC Dordrecht, making 66 appearances. Dirk Kuijt made him captain of the Schapekoppen at the start of the previous season.
Contract Details
Valk is the 13th signing for Telstar and signs a contract that runs until summer 2029. The presentation highlighted his speed and resilience, qualities he demonstrated during his time at Dordrecht.
