FC Twente says goodbye to Harrie Kuster
FC Twente has made it official: midfielder Harrie Kuster will be leaving the club. The 20-year-old, who was previously linked to a move to Telstar by Twentefans.nl, has now completed his medical and signed a contract with the club until mid-2029, with an option for one more year. While the exact transfer fee is not disclosed, it is expected to be in the tens of thousands of euros.
Kuster made quite the impression during his loan period at RKC Waalwijk last season, scoring ten goals and providing two assists. This performance caught the attention of several clubs, but Kuster has decided to join Telstar after rejecting an offer from FC Twente. He was not included in the squad for their European match against Ferencvaros.
A new chapter at Telstar
Technisch directeur Peter Hofstede expressed his satisfaction with the acquisition: 'With Harrie, we are adding another talented young player to our team.' Kuster's performance last season demonstrated the qualities that Telstar is looking for. The club sees him as a long-term investment who can continue to develop and be valuable to the organization.
Kuster will now join the squad at BUKO Stadion, marking the beginning of his new journey with Telstar.
